Net is offering an exciting opportunity in diverse international environment for a telco professional with strong experience in cloud-
based technologies.The position reports to the department Digital Services that is part of the International Technology & Service Delivery Unit in the Technology & Innovation division.
This unit is providing managed Cloud services to Telekom groups and segments who want to utilize DT’s cloud platforms for their projects and products.
Application management and operations for Telekom’s Cloud marketplace servers
Manage all incidents to ensure application availability and proper operation within existing processes and infrastructure according to ITIL and Agile methodology
Implementation of changes such as deployments, transition to new services, maintenance or automation of infrastructure
Monitoring and analysis of stability, capacity and performance
Development, refinement and documentation of policies, processes, procedures and their implementation and use for operations management
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including internal penetration and vulnerability scans
Leading complex, overarching optimization projects with other departments, end users or business partners
3rd level technical support for the resolution of incidents; Coordination / cooperation of external support partners in solving problems
Close collaboration with Business Operations and CMS teams in Darmstadt, Germany
Advising the management in all technical matters regarding the operation of the existing infrastructure

Specific skills :
Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience with Linux (in best case Ubuntu) server administration
Experience in Tomcat and Apache WebServer or nginx, version control (e.g. GIT) and ticketing tools (e.g. Jira)
Experience with database administration, in best case with MySQL as a Galera Cluster
Strong communications skills in English (fluent spoken and written), good communication skills in German is a plus
Travel internationally 0-25%
