HR In Market Coordinator (IMC)

This role is offered on a fixed term contract basis for 12-16 months (acting as a maternity cover)

The Taste :

Diageo operates using a centralised HR Service Centre model. This role acts as the main representative of the HR Shared Services team in Greece and is based in Athens, being the first point of contact in terms of HR support for any queries and activities relating to employee lifecycle.

The HR In Market Coordinator (IMC) is therefore responsible for representing the HR Shared Service Centre and providing HR transactional services and activities to employees.

The IMC is also responsible for ensuring that all established processes are consistently and efficiently delivered in the country.

Ingredients :

  • To coordinate the monthly payroll process. Ensure accurate data is provided in a timely manner to the Payroll provider in order for employees to be paid on time and in an accurate fashion.
  • Coordinate the various legal and Government forms, ensuring that documents are processed, recorded and stored as required.
  • To produce accurate and insightful reports on various HR metrics, that drive understanding of HR trends.
  • Engage with local benefits providers with particular focus on private medical & pension company to ensure efficient ways of working and resolve issues regarding local benefits.
  • To work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate employment costs monitoring and compliance with internal and external stakeholders (e.
  • g. state authorities).

  • Support local HR team in other HR streams, based on project requirements from time to time. Service Provision
  • Always encourage and drive employees and HR colleagues to follow the established HR processes consistently and suggest the most appropriate ways to embed the new ways of working.
  • Use all the provided systems maintain the most accurate employee data and to track every request coming from the market to ensure queries are recorded and outcomes are delivered within the agreed timings.
  • Advise employees and rest of HR team on use of HR system.
  • To be available to answer queries received from employees via phone, email or in person in a thorough, accurate and professional manner within the agreed timings.
  • Data Accuracy and process compliance & improvement

  • To keep HR information, in databases used, up to date in an accurate and timely manner as per the Process Maps / Work instructions.
  • To ensure all processes are followed as outlined and actions are always compliant with the established guidelines, both internal and external ones.
  • How to Serve :

  • Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience in Employee Life Cycle activities in a business which operates within Greece
  • Experience in Payroll administration will be a big plus
  • Ideally holds an MSc in HR or Business discipline should hold a University BA / BSc as a minimum
  • Computer Literate (with increased focus on MS Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and work both independently and as part of a team while reporting remotely
  • Flexible and able to build good relationships with various stakeholders
