About the role
We are looking for an experienced FrontEnd engineer to join our team in Athens. As a frontend engineer, you will contribute to our Frontend framework which consists of ReactJS as a view layer accompanied by Redux which manages our data and updates our UI.
The whole framework is based on asynchronous and functional ES6 and ES7 code and
with the help of SASS and PostCSS for styling, everything is bundled with the latest Webpack module bundler.
The final product is code splitted and optimized by the CircleCI pipeline to deliver the best performance and experience to our users.
You will work with creative and open-minded people who are not afraid to listen to your opinion, which will be highly appreciated and valued.
You will participate in an agile team and develop features based on our roadmap
You will deliver high quality scalable and well-tested code by following our comprehensive style guide and follow our coding principles.
Oh and.. we have a mobile app written in ReactNative with great similarity to our current frontend stack, so our engineers can work on both apps. Cool, right?

Ideally, you’ll :
Have 3+ years experience working in a large scale web application
Be confident in at least one popular Frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular etc)
Have strong HTML / CSS skills especially using a post / pre-processor like LESS or SASS
Have strong knowledge of HTTP(S) protocol and REST APIs
Be experienced with Git
Have experience in at least one backend focused programming language
Have a good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Have a good understanding of browser compatibility and their limitations
Have basic knowledge of NodeJS and its concepts
Have an understanding of Flux / Redux / unidirectional data flow
And you’ll :
Think analytically and methodically with high attention to detail
Refactor problematic, incomplete parts and constantly improve our codebase
Read, understand & debug code
Follow coding standards and apply good practices
Write scalable and optimized code
Measure and improve performance
Deliver testable, efficient, reusable, high quality and easy to read code
