Cobham SATCOM is looking for a Sales Manager to Develop, maintain and drive Maritime sales in the Greece & Cyprus. Foster long term relationships with key customers generate new leads while adhering to revenue forecasts.
This role will be home-based ideally in either Athens or Piraeus and will involved regular travel throughout Greece.
As a Sales Manager your key skills and qualifications will ideally include :
Minimum of 7 years sales and marketing experience with demonstrated ability to sell. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience in communications industry and / or Maritime.
Strong team building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people across a geographically dispersed organization.
Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers, and upper management
High integrity. Understands the need for ethics in business. Demonstrates proper business conduct. Maintains confidentiality and can be trusted.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, internal customers, vendors and suppliers.
Computer skills : Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook advanced level required
Other required skills : Demonstrated in-depth sales techniques Experience selling to globally diverse organizations preferred Experience selling Marine or Antenna System Solutions / Services preferred Experience using Sales / Lead Management software such as CRM Innovative, entrepreneurial, adaptable Ability to manage and coordinate input from multiple sources Ability to work w / technical, marketing, and management personnel across a variety of businesses
As a Sales Manager your main responsibilities will involve :
Manage existing accounts including turnover, sales development and growth
Generate new accounts / segments as directed,
Develop and enhance existing customer relations & direct contact to local end users. Both to ensure continued business, and create bigger knowledge in the Market for SAILOR & Sea Tel Maritime portfolio
Develop and present quotes based on standard company policy
Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues quickly and seamlessly,
Collaborate with other sales team members to ensure optimal product presentation to customers / stakeholders,
Facilitate timely and cost effective deliver of product,
Attend trade shows and other company customer focused events
Present product to customers and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner,
