Leads the marketing strategy and execution for Quaker across the Nutrition portfolio for the Indonesia Market Unit to deliver profitable nutrition category growth.
Develops the brand strategy for the Indonesia nutrition portfolio (Quaker Oats, Flavoured Oats, 3in1 Cereal Beverages and New Categories) in alignment with local stakeholders and Regional Marketing Team.
Deveops the local marketing calendar which includes Communication and promotion campaigns and tactical plans to meet AOP targets
Manages and monitors A&M budget to ensure spending within approved limits & work with Finance to ensure proper tracking of expenses.
Leads developmental work on new product / innovation includes packaging, product, research, pricing (work with Cross functional team Region Mktg, R&D, Insights, SRA, Legal, Ops, Sales, Suppliers & GM)
Agency management liaise & drive projects with multiple agencies (media, creative, research, advertising, digital / social media), ensure marketing campaigns / on ground activations is in accordance with plan
Develop launch plans which includes integrated ATL / BTL for new products based on insights and agreed strategies, in consultation with Marketing Manager
Using insights derived from market visits / research, identify & propose premium options that are relevant to the target audience.
Thereafter, source & negotiate with suppliers.
Works closely with creative agency to propose & develop merchandising options / POSM
Develop selling deck / trade presenter for new products as well as promotional items
Work closely with Sales Management to develop and provide Planogram / Merchandising guidelines
Reporting responsible for preparing & presenting monthly Foods review with distributor, monthly Sales volume tracking for internal MU Marketing team and competitor activity.
Research analyse category trends & competitive trends (Nielsen) as well as Consumer Research study. Responsible for developing brief for testing of new product concepts
Events / roadshows / Sampling activities plan, brief & manage agencies to ensure execution on plan
Training of product knowledge to sales, promoters team and new hires
Manage product samples Conduct internal taste tests for new products
Work with SRA / QA / Nutrition team to keep abreast of Food Regulatory in Indonesia
As A&M control owner, perform control roles and responsibility in accordance with PepsiCo Accountability model. Support Process Owner in driving GCS (Global Control Standards) agenda.
Understand the objective of the assigned control(s) and document the test script attributes for effective execution of the control, evaluate control effectiveness through testing as per GCS guidelines and maintain an audit trail to evidence execution of the activities.
Ensure timely remediation of any control deficiencies.
Qualifications / Requirements
Min 7 years experience in a Marketing role in an FMCG environment
Experience leading category marketing strategy and growth
Experienced in writing marketing briefs for specific media placements, promotions, sponsorships, research, etc.
Must be a self-starter, able to take up projects afresh independently and develop own KPIs to achieve overall business results
Must be organized, proactive, persistent, persuasive, patient, and meticulous.
Must be able to work with different cultures within a matrix-ed organization.
Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
Able to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting agendas and requirements
