An opportunity has become available for an IT Business Partner, based at our Rhodes Office in Sydney.
Reporting to the International ITS lead (who is also based at Rhodes) the incumbent will be the technology leader for the Australian and New Zealand markets working across all enterprise technology areas to deliver technology strategies (in line with global corporate IT strategy).
This role will ensure the effective ongoing technical operations with key focus on commercial and business operations projects including CRM, services, business intelligence, digital marketing and revenue management.
The role will include working with global cross functional teams for support and infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities include :
Serves as the primary Information Technology Services (ITS) point of contact to the Australia and New Zealand market business leadership.
Responsible for consulting with all business leaders to help them to determine how technology can best address their business needs and challenges;
Actively participates in business leadership team meetings and advocates technology solutions to meet business needs and goals.
Act as a senior cluster ITS leader as an advocate for market requirements when global technology related initiatives are being rolled out.
Requires a very strong level of project management and proven track record for execution for IT solutions.
Accountability for issue resolution, managing escalations, aligning ongoing maintenance and operations with our global infrastructure team.
Accountable for the effective delivery of local ITS solutions that align with key processes across Animal Health ITS including portfolio management and governance.
Provides single-point of accountability for technology management, solution delivery and performance (cost and quality).
Aligns to global portfolio management strategies, working to rationalize local solutions and standardize on Zoetis global solutions.
Accountable for managing local compliance processes and documentation, in line with global compliance teams.
Works collaboratively with Zoetis Global Solution Center, Enabling functions and Infrastructure to implement and support international solutions in Australia and New Zealand.
Education and Experience :
University Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration or other relevant fields. MBA or Equivalent Degree Preferred.
Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and Application support; Project Management; Working knowledge of networking and systems design.
Technology experience : web / mobile solutions include e-commerce / digital marketing; data management and business intelligence solutions;
sales force automation / CRM solutions; Call center / customer support technologies, General understanding of data center and infrastructure technologies and general understanding of ERP and logistics systems.
Experience in a commercial environment, preferably life-sciences, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and resources concurrently, developing budgets and managing forecasts for IT investments.
Experience in working with stakeholders in multiple markets with diverse cultures and business models.
Business process analysis and design; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Strong project management skills. Excellent time management and follow up is a must.
Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to work in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders that include Business Units, Regional, Functional Leaders and their teams.
Strong team player and contributor to team environment, relationship builder and experience in leveraging matrix organization, and managing resources without direct authority.
