Net is offering an exciting opportunity in diverse international environment for a telco professional with strong experience in cloud-based technologies.
The position reports to the department Digital Services that is part of the International Technology & Service Delivery Unit in the Technology & Innovation division.
This unit is providing managed Cloud services to Telekom groups and segments who want to utilize DT’s cloud platforms for their projects and products.
Ensuring application availability and proper operation within the existing deployment processes and infrastructure
Measure, analyze and monitor the infrastructure to be maintained for availability and performance; Implementation of fault analyzes including analysis of technical faults and fault rectification
Monitoring and analysis of stability, capacity and performance
Identify action needs at CFS or process level
Further development of the degree of automation when deploying the application release
Management of optimization projects
2nd Level Technical Support to resolve incidents according to ITIL and Agile methodology
Application management and operations for Telekom’s Cloud marketplace servers
Close collaboration with Business Operations and Content Management System (CoreMedia-based) teams in Darmstadt, Germany

Specific skills :
Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience with Linux (in best case Ubuntu) server administration
Experience with Tomcat and Java-applications, version control (e.g. GIT) and ticketing tools (e.g. Jira)
Experience with ansible playbooks, Puppet
Experience in using monitoring tools (in best case check mk)
Strong communications skills in English (fluent spoken and written), good communication skills in German is a plus
Travel internationally 0-25%
