The Tennis Instructor is responsible for assisting the Head Instructor in the implementation of tennis activities assigned by the Athletic Department.
The Tennis Instructor reports to the Head Tennis Instructor and to the Director of Athletics.
This is an on field teaching position. The person must be self driven and make sure that the tennis activities are being implemented for different age groups;
Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
Must be fully engaged and energetic throughout each lesson;
Provide friendly customer service and a welcoming environment to each student;
Report incidents and concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner;
Collect, manage, and return the equipment in good working condition;
Begin each class on time and use the full scheduled time;
Perform tasks assigned by the Head Tennis Instructor and the Athletics Department;
Ability to attend all class sessions;
Attend all necessary meetings;
Other duties as assigned.
Degree in Physical education (subject : tennis) or other certified tennis coaching degree;
Excellent communication skills both in Greek and in English;
Working hours : Monday Friday, 16.00-18.30 (extension of additional working hours depending on demand);
Commitment to long term cooperation;
To be physically fit for instruction on the courts as needed.
Prior experience working with children required;
Excellent knowledge on the sport of tennis high level of playing tennis.
Develop a passion of sports in each child;
Develop fundamental tennis sport skills;
Develop advanced players.
