The Audit Associate Manager will be part of a team of Subject Matter Experts that will lead the drive to harmonize, simplify, eliminate, and automate control tasks across LATAM functions.
Accountabilities are as follows :
Assures integrity of financial reporting, compliance with laws and policies, and achievement of operational objectives by owning the design of process controls across LATAM
Complete end to end risk assessments to determine the correct controls
Work with function leads and process owners to roll out new controls
Drives standardization by harmonizing controls across LATAM businesses
Complete functional eco-risk assessments to determine (with Risk Assessment Manager)
Train control owners to execute and self-test new controls
Reduce number of key controls by lifting control ownership from BU to Region / Sector
Reduce the number of key controls by delivering eco-risk assessments
Work with functional leaders to ensure that no additional risk results from reduction
Work with Process Owners to identify opportunities to reduce process and control outages
Deliver one Kaizen / Green Belt project per year and deliver $100M in productivity
Review business processes and identify manual steps that can be automated
Work with BIS to deliver reports and configurations that automate the process steps
Work with Process Control SMEs in other sectors to align and implement consistent business process controls across sectors
Contributes to productivity agenda by eliminating 25% of controls without raising level of risk to LATAM.
Delivers one six sigma project per year worth at least $100M in savings to LATAM per year.
Implements a more effective and efficient control mix by increasing the % of automated controls
Plays a lead role in the development of an International Control COE by delivering at least 1 cross-sector project per year with other PIRT sectors (PwF, ESSA, AMENA)
Qualifications / Requirements
Basic Qualifications :
Certified Black Belt or Green Belt Six Sigma and / or operational experience working in the Sales function
Fluent Spanish and English speaker
Must be able to travel between 30-40%
Preferred Qualifications :
Certified Green Belt Six Sigma or operational experience working in the Sales function
Detailed understanding of the GCS or COSO
In-depth experience of PepsiCo business process across snacks and beverage businesses
Significant experience of working with LATAM internal controls
Portuguese is also a plus
Strong communication, negotiation, and communication skills
Experience in working in a virtual, multi-cultural team
