Role Purpose : The job holder will be the sales specialist for Vodafone’s Cloud & IoT services & solutions to business customers, working in close cooperation with business Account Managers in order to achieve the sales targets.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Achieve through cooperation and support of Vodafone’s business account managers the sales targets for the cloud & IoT services & solutions
Perform customer visits, enquire with customer IT decision makers & analyze customer technical requirements to propose the most suitable Cloud & IoT services & solutions
Prepare and present the sales offers, handle the technical and commercial discussion and follow up any open points with customers, in order to get the sales orders.
Cooperate with business partners, vendors and subcontractors in order to get support in the creation of technical and commercial proposals and support with the orders fulfilment.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
Ability to understand the customer’s IT operation model and propose in technical terms, the migration to cloud (SaaS & IaaS) services & solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively in technical and commercial terms and to explain the benefits that arise from the adoption of cloud & IoT services & solutions.
Prior experience related to customer facing presales or sales with an IT company.
Personal drive and commitment to create awareness, consideration and adoption of new services and solutions.
Technical / professional qualifications :
University degree or Diploma in IT
Excellent speaking and writing English skills
