The Account Executive (AE) achieves an overall revenue goal through the creation of a complete territory business plan that generates at least three times the quota in pipeline opportunity.

The AE identifies and qualifies opportunities and develops and drives strategy. The AE creates and nurtures executive relationships independently to position the SAP executive team to assist.


  • Interact directly with customers and net new prospects to position the value of SAP® solutions and services
  • Assemble, prepare, and manage the virtual account team (VAT) that consists of solution engineers, customer engagement managers, strategic partners, and other relevant roles so that SAP solutions are well-
  • positioned in the account.

  • Identify companies as potential customers of SAP solutions, utilizing all available VAT resources
  • Pursue professional and personal development to ensure adequate knowledge of the markets and industries that SAP serves and of the products and services that SAP provides
  • Update the internal SAP Customer Relationship Management application with accurate customer and pipeline information on a regular basis
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as expense reports, in a timely manner

  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in the following industries would be beneficial (Utilities, Oil and Gas)
  • Experience working the full cycle of complex sales and presenting to multiple levels within clients

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated history of achieving a sales quota
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
