That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a super smart HR Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of all Human Resource functions and duties at Epignosis.

Your goal will be to promote our corporate values and make it possible for our team of great humans to reach even better business success.

You’ll do this through job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, and talent management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Big picture designer. You’ll support our business needs and business strategy by developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
  • You’ll also represent Epignosis at career fairs and other events to promote our organization and get our name out there.

  • Performance and training planner. You’ll assess our organization’s training needs and then deploy and monitor training programs aligned with our business goals.
  • You’ll oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.

  • Discoverer. You’ll manage the process of hiring new staff, including recruitment and selection. You’ll find potential candidates, screen their resumes and interview them.
  • You’ll also work closely with managers to guide them through the process and recommend candidates.

  • Culture builder. We’re big on cultivating a working environment that respects our employees as professionals and as people.
  • You’ll help us nurture this type of positive environment by planning and organizing activities that encourage team bonding and boost morale.

    You’ll also be responsible for handling employee requests and complaints, and you’ll act as a mediator between management and employees.

  • Compliance maintainer . You’ll maintain our payment plans and benefits program while also ensuring human resource compliance.
  • You’ll report to management and use HR metrics to support your decision making.

    Requirements

  • Done this before and done it well. You spent long days and longer nights studying for your BS in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Bonus points if you went a step further and got an MSc) Since then you’ve worked as an HR manager or an HR executive and have proof to show us the difference you made.

  • Strategic thinker. Not only can you design a strategy and implement it, but you can also sell it to our people. You communicate clearly and with respect, and you’re an advocate of positivity, creativity, and flexibility.
  • Your leadership style is more Steve Jobs and not at all like Kim Jong Un.

  • Know your stuff. You and labor laws are basically best friends. You’re deeply familiar and have in-depth knowledge about the laws that regulate employees and employers in Greece.
  • You’re also on a first name basis with HR best practices and have implemented them successfully before.

  • Must like people. You enjoy focusing on and working with people. You want them to succeed and you like watching them succeed.
  • That’s because you love seeing results. Essentially, results are what drives you. You’re quite comfortable with all types of human resource metrics.

    And you’re a bit of a geek about them, too.)

  • Emotionally intelligent. You’re emotionally mature, discreet and your active listening skills are as good as any therapist’s.
  • You’re an expert negotiator and your presentation skills are near TED talk levels.
