Responsible for all cross business unit sales activities, to achieve the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets for the agreed product lines and services in the assigned sales territory.
Responsible for developing business relationships with several strategic accounts for increased market penetration.
REPORTS TO : Sales Manager PSS, SE Europe SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within customers in the agreed sales territory.
Actively promote and sell Emerson Business and Business Unit offerings including products, solutions and services in the agreed geographical area or industry of responsibility.
Actively visit existing customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services.
Seek new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and industries.
Act as cross business unit contact point for nominated end-user accounts, monitor and report on progress against the agreed Account Plan to maximize orders and profits.
Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson Automation Solutions.
Participate in contracts negotiations with accounts’ management.
Actively visit customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services.
Maximize both face to face meetings and high level relationships with customers in strategic accounts segment including relevant social relationship within agreed company guidelines.
Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs.
Prepare an annual booking budget by product / value period and be able to forecast client’s business activity.
Report regularly to the direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect the Emerson business strategies.
Provide timely report on customer requirements, bookings status, competition and market trends.
Understand customer business drivers and demonstrate linkage between recommended products / solutions to customer’s needs and business objectives.
Recommend price models and framework that fits the future business outlook and enables Emerson to capture maximum orders and profitability from the account and facilitate the formation of agreements by discerning the win / win for both parties.
Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services to key accounts.
Support and drive Emerson internal programs (e.g. Think Customer).
Behave ethically in all business dealings. Ensure all Emerson ethics policies and processes are embedded in day to day.
Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.

Adhere to Emerson Automation Solutions Ethical values at all time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent
Proven background in proactive selling and / or Key Account Management (5+ sales experience)
Good knowledge of all Emerson and / or competitive products and services
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel as much time as the business requires throughout the region. CORE COMPETENCIES
