Working as a Presales Manager at Channel VAS you will be able to demonstrate your business, creativity and technical skills in a global team of high caliber professionals interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving and communication skills and ideally has experience working for FinTech, consultancy and / or telecom VAS companies

We are looking for an exceptional individual whose key responsibilities will be to :

  • Lead the development of sales propositions and support Business Developers deliver winning commercial proposals
  • Actively create sales plans and research market opportunities around different regions
  • Create financial models and analyse financial data
  • Create sales material and proposals that stand out
  • Coordinate between the technical, Product and commercial departments to prepare winning RFP / RFQ / tender responses
  • Carry out market research and competition mapping
  • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge repository and participate in staff training
  • Participate in sales meetings and pitch at the CXO level
  • Required Experience & Qualifications :

  • You will be able to demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience working for Consulting, FinTech, Telecom / Technology or VAS firms.
  • Previous exposure to Mobile Financial Services or selling to mobile operators would be an advantage.

  • A demonstrable track record in Pre-Sales / Sales roles
  • Proven track record in preparing business proposals and RFP responses
  • Fluency in English. Other languages would be a plus (Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish)
  • BSc and MA / MSc in Business, Science, Engineering or Marketing. MBA will be considered as a plus
  • Key competencies :

  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written and fluent in English. Creating presentations that stand out is a must
  • Strong problem solving and good skills in financial modelling (using Excel)
  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Innovative thinking and strong attention to detail
  • Fast learner, ambitious and self-starter
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and creative environment
  • Pro-activeness, accountability and results orientation
  • Hard working attitude and willingness to commit on projects
  • Ability to handle multiple clients, multiple team members and priorities with confidence
