Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, Athens is looking for a Restaurant Manager.

The F&B Operation consists of eight outlets and a significant banquet operation.

  • Two signature restaurants
  • Two lounges
  • Two significant Pool / Beach side outlets
  • Cigar Bar
  • Two separate Banquet operations
  • 1,284 sqm of indoor meeting space + Outdoor catering space)

    The Restaurant Manager will report to the Director of the F&B Outlets and the Director of Food & Beverage and forms part of the F&B leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the division.

    The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of his restaurant. The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, monitor and strive for the annual budget, manage labour cost and operating expenses of his restaurant and develop relationships with guests, key suppliers and industry associates.

    We are looking for individuals who have an exceptional knowledge of food & beverage, have creativity and flair, and are able to evidence good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management skills.

    This person will be responsible for the successful opening and guest service delivery for one of the signature restaurants of our Hotel in Athens, to include creating and executing a business plan, hiring a successful team of professionals and becoming an active part of the local community.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in managing volume restaurants
  • English is a must and knowing of the Greek language will be an advantage
  • Knowing of P&L system is necessary
  • High degree of analytical abilities
  • A flair for creativity and entrepreneurship
  • Proven record of building strong relationships with team members, patrons and managers
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Candidate should hold valid work authorization for the EU, though assistance can be provided for applicants outside the jurisdiction
  • Sense of style, flair, eye for detail and creative
  • Passionate Food & Beverage operator, following the current trends
