Assist in researching technical accounting questions as required by the organization including impact of contract language, changes to accounting, acquisitions, changes to business models etc.
Assist in providing technical accounting guidance that aligns business objectives and complies with U.S. GAAP
Assist in the evaluation of the impact of and the subsequent implementation of new accounting standards
Assist with accounting for M&A transactions
Assist in quarterly legal reviews / assessments
Assist in quarterly responsibilities as required (rep letter, COCC, SAB 108, pre / post close, etc).
Qualifications / Requirements
CPA is required
Team player with ability to work with a variety of internal and external clients in a consultative role, and establish and maintain productive relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent organizational skills
Critical thinking and analytical ability
Minimum of 6 years experience in accounting, including experience within a large public accounting firm
